At 5:25 tomorrow morning, an IndiGo flight leaves Jaipur for Kolkata. Its passengers will be checking out of their stays at about 3:30 AM. Tonight, a guest flying in from Mumbai may land long after your caretaker has gone home. And from 17 November, travellers from Bangkok can fly straight into Jaipur again.
Jaipur Airport's winter schedule starts today, 25 October 2026, and runs until 27 March 2027. It covers the whole peak season. For anyone who hosts guests in Jaipur, the new timetable changes who arrives, when they arrive and how fast your home needs to be ready.
What Is Changing at Jaipur Airport
Every year on the last Sunday of October, airports across India move to the winter timetable approved by the DGCA. This year Jaipur gets more flights to the cities that send it the most visitors.
- 72 daily flights will leave Jaipur under the winter schedule, according to Zee News and Amar Ujala. Counting arrivals and departures together, that is more than 1,000 flights a week: about 900 domestic and 110 international (ETV Bharat).
- International flights rise from 68 to 110 a week, an increase of about 60% (ETV Bharat).
- Nine new departures start from today. They go to Kolkata, Navi Mumbai, Delhi (two by Air India and one by IndiGo), Jodhpur, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
- Jaipur to Bangkok returns on 17 November, with Thai AirAsia flying four times a week. The Muscat flight becomes daily, and both Dubai flights move to new times.
Zee News also reports one important detail. Airlines are adding flights on proven metro routes but avoiding new cities, because jet fuel prices have risen more than 40% this year. The result is more seats on the routes Jaipur already depends on: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and the Gulf.
Why This Matters for Jaipur Hosts
More flights mean more short trips. Jaipur's own airport numbers show how much demand there already is. In FY25 the airport handled 61.6 lakh passengers, up 11% on the year before, or about 18,000 people a day (PTI via The Week). Its busiest day on record was 16 February 2025, with 21,683 passengers, which falls in the wedding and festival season.
The wider picture is just as strong:
- Rajasthan recorded 10.92 crore tourist visits in January to June 2026 alone. Jaipur drew the most foreign visitors in the state, at 2.56 lakh (Outlook Traveller, from Rajasthan Tourism data).
- Jaipur has around 1,081 active Airbnb listings, with an average daily rate of about ₹4,977 (AirROI, Oct 2025 to Sep 2026).
- November is the city's top earning month, and December brings its highest occupancy, at about 38% (AirROI).
A 72-flight day lands right on top of this. Three points matter most for hosts.
1. Weekend trips get easier. Morning flights from Delhi and Mumbai, plus late-evening returns, make a two-night Jaipur break simple for city travellers. That means shorter stays and more check-ins per month. October stays in Jaipur already average just 2.5 nights (AirROI).
2. Guests arrive at odd hours. Look at the new timings. Flights leave at 5:25 AM, 7:10 AM and 7:30 AM, and others leave at 8:35 PM, 10:15 PM and 10:55 PM. The planes that fly those late departures come in during the evening, and the early departures mean guests leaving before sunrise. If your check-in still needs someone to hand over a key, you will lose bookings to homes with smooth self check-in.
3. A new international guest returns. Bangkok flights bring back a direct link with Thailand from mid-November. A daily Muscat service and new Dubai timings also strengthen links with the Gulf, where many Rajasthani families live and work. These guests often book whole homes for family visits and weddings, and they expect hotel-level cleanliness.
The Hidden Pressure: Faster Turnovers
This is the part most hosts miss. More short stays mean more changeovers, and odd-hour arrivals squeeze the time you have between guests.
Take a typical peak-season Saturday. One family checks out at 4 AM to catch the 5:25 flight to Kolkata. The next guest lands from Mumbai in the afternoon and asks for early check-in. That is a big opportunity, because the home is empty from dawn. It only works if your cleaning team can start early and finish before noon.
Now picture the reverse. A guest leaves at 11 AM, and the next one wants to check in at 1 PM after the morning Delhi flight. You have two hours for a full clean, fresh linen, restocking and photos for your records.
From 20 November, Airbnb's new house rules policy also stops hosts from requiring guests to do chores such as washing dishes or stripping beds. Every reset now falls fully on you and your team. (Read our guide: No More Checkout Chores: Airbnb's 20 Nov Rule Explained.)
Your 6-Step Plan for the Winter Season
- Update your arrival guide today. Ask guests for their flight number when they book. Use the new timings to plan check-in and checkout, and remind guests that airlines advise checking new times before they travel.
- Make self check-in work at any hour. A smart lock or a lockbox, a clear video guide and a well-lit entrance can save you a 1 AM phone call. Late arrivals can then leave you a 5-star review instead of a complaint.
- Sell early check-in and late checkout. Use the early-morning departures to free your home sooner, then offer early check-in to the next guest for a small fee. Price it in your listing so guests know before they book.
- Plan turnovers around the flights. Share your weekly arrival and departure list with your cleaning team, and block 2.5 to 3 hours per turnover for a 1 BHK. That covers a deep reset, linen change and restock. (Swabha estimate. Actual time varies by property size and condition.)
- Stock up for short stays. Two-night guests use the same set of linen and toiletries as a five-night guest, but more often. Keep at least three sets of linen per bed so you never wait on laundry between guests.
- Write for flyers. Add "15 to 25 minutes from Jaipur Airport" (if true) and "self check-in" to your listing title or description. Mention the airport in your guidebook with cab and metro options.
Turn More Flights Into More Five-Star Stays
The new winter schedule is good news for Jaipur. More seats from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dubai, Muscat and soon Bangkok mean more guests looking for a home in the Pink City this season. The hosts who gain the most will be the ones whose homes are spotless and ready, whatever time the plane lands.
That is where Swabha comes in. Our turnover cleaning, linen management and restocking services work around your guests' flights, early mornings included. You get guest-ready homes, quicker same-day changeovers and reviews that keep your calendar full.
